WOMANKIND
WOMANKIND is a tribute to the female body and its diversity.
When do we feel free?
And how do we set ourselves free? Free from comparisons, shame, ideals and the opinions of others?
Can the feeling of freedom be created? Can it be visualized?
These questions sets the frame for my ongoing art project WOMANKIND.
With a fixed artistic framework, where women volunteer for the project through Instagram, I try to push our boundaries, both as a participant in a photoshoot and as a viewer of the images. By throwing myself and the participants into an unknown and uncontrolled space, I try to create a new framework for our perception of ourselves, and others in this world.
I use nudity as a powerful element and a symbol of freedom, but also a visualisation of our differences and similarities.WOMANKIND Exhibition
